Rochor dessert outing
The jellyfish is back! Posting about today's mini-outing with JM and Tean, in town. =D
So basically for today... We went to EwF (JM and has not been there before) and makan dinner there! This time, I tried the bacon cheese omellete burger which I didn't try the last time with SOH. Awesomely delicious, esp the part with cheese and egg together! The cheese just blended in nicely with the egg, making the whole thing smooth and cheesy, without too strong a taste. Excellent!
Took a bit of JM's pork katsu burger, which strangely didn't taste as nice as I thought. Tean tried a cheese mushroom burger (limited time) which was rather all right! I prefer the mushroom cheese sandwich in the library cafe though. =P
(Sidetrack: The cheese and mushroom gourmet sandwich at the AMK library cafe is just simply awesome! it goes with foccia bread spread with olive oil, sandwiching cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuces and onions. The sides that went along were sour cream potato chips and a nice dosage of fruit salad containing pineapple, grapes and apples. For $3.80, not too bad!)
Ate for almost an hour! Perhaps we spent too long opening up the large number of mustard packets. =P Talked about Tean's 3SG and JM's CPL rank pay difference, along with other random rubbish. After the dinner, we walked around different shopping centers.
- Orchard Plaza was simply too ulu, especially the 4th level, where not a soul was in sight. 2 male ang-mohs and a female were standing outside a sex shop. One of the male was shouting something about a fleshlight, while another was criticising that the price is too expensive. Ah, what on earth are these 3 people doing in this shopping center when they can do their business somewhere else. :/
- Carrefour in Plaza Singapura, JM wanted to find an ice-cream maker to make more delicious desserts? No luck there, but we looked at a large number of merchandise and commented much about the strawberry cakes and the beverages offered. Bought a few packets of juices / plain water, and set off to somewhere else.
- I finally know where is 1, Selegie Road! That is the HQ where you collect the larger amount of winnings, or prizes. The outer appearance simply looks grand, I don't know about the inside though! Since I don't gamble, I suppose I would not get a chance to know what's inside and about the information about winning! The cold storage at the basement, ugh nothing much to comment about that. The place does sell PM Rahul's favourite Nutritea 'Herbal Tea'! A malay guy tried to be funny by pointing his guitar like a gun, and went about walking in a fashion like a gunshooter. A lot of ppl stared at him... Including me! =P
1915hrs: We walked towards the Rochor Beancurd / You Tiao shop for some dessert. Apparently this shop sells typical beancurd, grass jelly, egg tarts, other fried breakfast goodies! ^^
Quite comfy with 2 levels, the upper level is even air-conditioned, so it's rather cooling to enjoy a bowl of warm dessert or fried food in the cooling room. I had 1 Youtiao, 1 portugese egg-tart and 1 cup of cold grass jelly drink for $3. Compared to market prices, they should be slightly more expensive than outside, but its the town area after all, so oh well! =D Tried 1 mouth of the beancurd in syrup, don't really like it, although I presume that it's supposed to be very nice. Ah, the hatred and dislike towards beancurd is just unfortunate.

We looked through the songs in one another's phone and played some phone games, all the way until 8.15pm! Since there's some time left to burn, we walked to the National Library and took the lift up to the 14th storey and down again, followed by returning my 'Demystifying Organic Chem' book. Its not usual for me to visit the National Library on a Saturday night, but ah, who cares! =D The view is fantastic though!
WL and Yaznisham liked the check-in, I don't know why! Can sort of predict different ppl's response about me going to the library on a Saturday night...

With this, it concludes the end of a mini-outing and also completed my 'mission' of walking around town on a Saturday night. Achievement unlocked, mission accomplished! ^^
