Life of a jellyfish - Episode 2!

The jellyfish is back! This year has been hit greatly by covid-19, but it actually has been a really awesome year for me, well at least compared to 2019. =P Shall go back to the format of writing the positive stuff first, before going on to the room for improvement. :)  But in a super nutshell, it will be something like this. [JJ shared this haha] ~~~~~ What is awesome about 2020? :)  1. Be much more engaged in my work. There were a lot of useless meetings / discussions / seminars / sharing sessions when there wasn't any Covid. However since this year has many work from home days, I finally get the time to read much more papers, learn more about the topic, try out a lot of stuff which I have always wanted and engage in my work. =P  2. Learnt more programming in both work / non-work scenarios. Glad that the things learnt in online courses actually helped quite a bit. :D 3. Had quite a lot of skype gaming / dinners with F4.  The jellyfish is back! Today is JJ's birthday, and the day started off with the Thomson East Coast Line breaking down. XD Well I don't take the line anyway (not with 3 stations only)~ Anyway, here's wishing JJ happy birthday. ^_^ ================ It's rather late, but I shall post a rather memorable dinner with F4 recently on 13th Nov~ What is so special is that we usually will have dinner, and is rather scheduled. However this occasion was kinda unplanned and it also involves an additional supper, breaking my usual sleeping time. =P 1830h: Since the dinner was impromptu, WL decided to choose the dinner and we ended up having Pizza Hut again, but this time in Jurong Point. Lots of people, and we had a light meal. Shared Salmon and mashed potato with WL, while PH had a personal BBQ pizza set and War had some meatballs. 1930h: We headed to NTUC to buy some snacks and water. The jellyfish is back~ :) Its currently the 6th week into the Circuit Breaker (CB), and SG will hopefully ease a bit of restrictions after that. :D Decided to write a random post~ For some reason these 2 days quite a number of things brought back memories of the past, and specifically in the stretch of 2012 - 2013. Shall list down some of the items here~ 1: The Heirs Korean Drama Probably hearing too many Kpop songs (both OSTs and non-OSTs), and some scenes from this Korean drama came up on Youtube. O_O A 2013 drama talking about romance between young people still in school, and most of them come from very rich families. Remembered watching this while doing Math tutorials at home. It aired on SBS on Wed and Thur nights. Damn popular at that time. =P 2: Maplestory Was backing up some stuff in hard disk, and came across some of the screenshots / saved BGMs. Some screenshots that showed after the Big Bang update, and a lot more when my crossbow was just 2nd or 3rd job. The jellyfish is back! 2019 has been a rather chaotic year, especially in life.  Unlike the past years, I shall first start off with the negative points, then the nicer sentences. :) ~~~~~~~~~~ What is not that great? 1. Jeff broke up with SH. This is undoubtedly the saddest thing that happened in these few years. 2. The book which was written with SH in 2018 was not published. EPH didn't want to publish the book and hastily swept off that the content is irrelevant. Didn't even give any chances for corrections (because they didn't have the concrete points to say what was wrong) =/ 3. Lost a junior whom I cared for. Would still like to thank him though for accompanying me during the darkest period. I think he should be doing well now. 4. Attempted to teach tuition (fire-fighting), but really couldn't concentrate and gave up in the end. 5. Missed out something which I really wanted to work and learn in my job. Most probably will have zero chance to touch it again. So
