Random mid May post
The jellyfish is back~ :)
Its currently the 6th week into the Circuit Breaker (CB), and SG will hopefully ease a bit of restrictions after that. :D Decided to write a random post~
For some reason these 2 days quite a number of things brought back memories of the past, and specifically in the stretch of 2012 - 2013. Shall list down some of the items here~
1: The Heirs Korean Drama
Probably hearing too many Kpop songs (both OSTs and non-OSTs), and some scenes from this Korean drama came up on Youtube. O_O A 2013 drama talking about romance between young people still in school, and most of them come from very rich families.
Remembered watching this while doing Math tutorials at home. It aired on SBS on Wed and Thur nights. Damn popular at that time. =P
2: Maplestory
Was backing up some stuff in hard disk, and came across some of the screenshots / saved BGMs. Some screenshots that showed after the Big Bang update, and a lot more when my crossbow was just 2nd or 3rd job. The guild members look nice. <3 Remembered that WL also joined SL, which then became SD and now the current SOH. WL recently played maple and posted a 3am memory with his buddies / guildmates, which I recognised almost nobody. XD
The video which I made to store memories of my young crossbow and SL is still there omg >.< Think I stopped playing maple at the end of 2012 (?), and played back at 2016 for a short while. =P
3: ShareTea
Was chatting with JJ about how SG peeps are willing to get $5+ BBT through food delivery apps, and we talked about the classic BBT (e.g. sweetTalk) with prices of $1+ in the past. Strawberry, choco, peppermint ice blended with classic pearls, no other toppings.
Then there came the 2nd kind of BBT (and also the current one) --- milk tea, latte, fruit flavoured teas, with still the classic pearls or other toppings such as milk cover, pudding, fanciful jellies. This brings back memories of F4 liking a specific brand of BBT.
WL -> ShareTea. Claims that PH likes ShareTea too. =P
War -> Koi. He still likes this.
Jeff -> GongCha. But somehow got more memories of buying ShareTea instead! Vaguely remembered something about drinking ShareTea only on Tuesdays, which WL found it amusing. XD
4: Senior Zul
A thor-rific senior from NS who has his juniors in mind, mostly. XD Coincidentally, today he shared a thor image.
Remembered him as somehow who gives quite a few talks to show concern, gives advice during and even after NS. Really appreciate it :)
5: Blog posts
Comparing to the frequency of posting in 2012/2013 vs now, there seems to be way more posts in the past~! The posts seem quite happy too: Outings, MVs, lame jokes. The 2nd half of 2013 incorporates some of the uni-related stuff inside. Ah, I even made a memory of the courses I took in NTU~
-> A lot of War and WL inside the fun outings. Ah, there's JM and Tean too.
-> Dinner, meetings and events with the ambulance crew.
-> The streak of temp jobs after NS, from hamper admin to relief teaching to Avarto to chem lab admin. A brief memory of BKS catering [which a lot of ppl didnt fancy] and the very high PSI period. =P

Only a very faint part of this memory came back, couldn't remember most of it. The interpretations by RT Lester seem cool though. After 7 years, perhaps it is time to see if those were actually accurate. =P

2013: Yea, quite true.
2020: Not a lot of friends now, but hmm ok. Quite true.
2: Not a self-centered person, prefer to put others before myself.
2013: Quoted that I would do things for others.
2020: Yup. Think that is still true. Although I lost a bit of hope on that haha.
3. Have quite a lot of friends.
2013: Nope.
2020: Still nope.
4: Have friends of different personalities.
2013: CD shows that is possible.
2020: Ah ya sia. =P
5: Career: Can go rather high, but no exceeding potential.
2013: Really ah!?
2020: Eh no leh. Normal research engineer only. ._.
6: Career will not be of extreme importance to me.
2013: No comments.
2020: Strongly agree. Not worth the life.
7: I will dote on my gf / wife.
2013: Yeah!
2020: Done that with probably the max effort. :) But in the end it doesn't even matter~ =/
8: Will let my gf / wife enjoy life, but I'll tend to be a bit abusive.
2013: Sounds scary, hope that will not happen.
2020: Perhaps a bit too direct and not romantic. First part definitely true haha. Ah oh well.
9: No interpretation.
2013 / 2020: No interpretation.
10: If a disaster / something catastrophic happens in my life, my life will not change.
2013: (A sibei optimistic sentence that I can solve major probs easily)
2020: So far nothing like that, thankfully. Closest is breakup bah. Life definitely changed a bit. Lost hope and motivation in quite a bit of things~ =/
Ah that was some interesting rabbit flashback. Interesting, how life and the mindset could change after so many years. :)

Some short memories with the F4, will elaborate if got more time :)
7th Feb: Had Astons at JE~ Not many people at first, and suddenly there was a long queue afterwards. Did we have the peach ice-cream that was paid by PH? =P SG Doscorn status changed to orange that day. PM gave a speech the next day.
13th Mar: Went to eat at Plaza Sing 5 guys. Wow there's lots of people! The burger and fries serving are really big! The fast food outlet also provided groundnuts for people who want some bites to go with their alcohol. We also tried the milkshake, which one could customize from a range of flavours. There is peanut and banana too. Simply delicious! We went to have some coffee / tea in the food court afterwards. The number of imported cases started to rise sharply. PM gave a speech the day before.
3rd Apr: A final quiet dinner at Pizza Hut, followed by a mac dessert. Not many people at both places. The feeling of a final meal makes the scene a bit more emo. >.< Community spread got quite bad at SG and thus the announcement of the Circuit Breaker measures. PM announce on the day itself.
7th Apr: First skype lunch meeting! With War constantly MIA and only WL eating lunch in front of the camera haha.
1st May: Hangouts / Skype. Watched WL and War playing yu-gi-oh, followed by 2 movie screenings (your name / just follow law), and many random clips. Some of the travelling ones (e.g. Japan) look so nice!
7th May: We played online board games! (fake artist goes to NY, CAH, hanabi, pictionary) Everyone like the last one, and wow some of the drawings are just awesome. XD
