29th Birthday Celebrations
Damn, I have reached another prime age! ><
Shall write a short memory of this year's celebrations, but first here is a short birthday song by Seventeen. Its really nice, good to listen to it while reading. :)

31st May
The celebrations started off by chatting with WL (WeeLiang) while counting down to 1st June~ He managed to connect to his skype call just literally minutes away from midnight. XD
We just chat about life, work, and haiyyaa 2nd year in a row cannot dine in due to COVID on 1st June~ Actually its ok, that means the birthday is a peaceful one. ^^ This went on until 1.30am in the morning, before I went to sleep as I had to go to office during the day time.
Happy perfect birthday WL :) Stay cheerful, be positive and have confidence in yourself and the things you do yeah?

1st June
Surprisingly I wasn't a zombie when I woke up at 5am to go to work. A very auspicious day to take leave, but gotta go back to welcome a new temp staff~
0630h: Started off the day by checking mails, setting up computer, with a really awesome morning surprise of a few birthday gifts on my desk. :) One is from my mentor, while some are annonymous though~ Thanks for the gifts!
0730h: So while I just started coding some stuff, Dave arrived at the office, and damn it was a long time since I saw him (due to P2HA/P1), and we ended up chatting about work and life. That was a really nice catch up, and it really reminded us that sometimes its not the objectives that motivates people to do their best, but rather the community influence. :)
Dave also gave a really nice packet of honey glazed macadamia nuts, thanks Dave! That is really nice! :D Ok I honestly have no idea what is the difference between glazed and roasted, but that sure looks good and tasted delicious too!

0850h: HF dropped by too! She dropped by while I was still talking to Dave earlier, and so we had a small chat about work after that. She remembered my birthday and even bought a cake / drink combo for breakfast.

It's really delicious, and a sweet start to a brand new month. Thanks HF! ^^
Its also another nice catch up, and also brings out the importance of balancing between what life needs us to do, and what we really wanna achieve. :)

0940h: A short period of time before welcoming the temp staff. ZP called and asked if I was in the office, and asked me to go to my cubicle. He rounded up 3 more people and they gave me a really large gift, and what was even more special was a really nice birthday card, that is signed by at least 20 people (most peeps from the same dept).

You know, this is the kind of thing that really makes you think twice about leaving a workplace. The people. <3 I can't describe how touched I really was. I don't really talk a lot to some of the people, but they still signed, wow... Thanks a lot people, really appreciate the wishes~ :)

1000h: Highlight of the day, which is to see temp staff. Seen.
1100h: Talked to Vellay about work. Talked.

1130h: The canteen female boss (Lucy) knew it was my birthday, and she prepared an off-the menu honey chicken dish for lunch (complimentary too!). That tasted amazing! Honey chicken bento, including egg fried rice, some salad and a sunny side up egg. Simply fantastic!
She also gave a box of traditional cake slices. Omg I was touched by that gesture too. T.T

1245h: ZP asked if I wanted to unwrap the big present, which turns out to be a very nice (insert char name here)! This is part of the sumikko series, and has many other characters such as tonkatsu too.
