27th Birthday celebrations
The jellyfish is back! :D Just some short descriptions of how the 27th birthday went. =P

30th May (Thu)
Took half day leave, and thus Zumba (Inst Dennis) was the last item for the day. Went to eat Swensens at CWP with parents. Apparently after 2.30pm, they have a 1-for-1 offer for mains and desserts, so we got ourselves some amount of food, and it was nice. =P
Chicken / fish baked rice --- Delicious!
Cornflake chicken --- The fried chicken is nice! Can taste the pepper haha. Cornflakes... Not much~
Lasagna --- Tastes decent, although it isnt my favourite dish. The cheese isn't as thick as I expected.
Earthquake --- For some reason the ice-cream only "exploded" once, but it was nice! The chocolate flavours have strong tastes!
Its a nice lunch! :D

31st May (Fri)
My DSO Orientation group organized a dinner. Initially, I wanted to go with Wee Liang to have a 1st-June-babies-only outing, but in the end Wee Liang felt that it was ok to join, so yup. :D
Present: WN-WX; Jason; Anyu-Joelle; Gab; Auds; Jeff; WL
Was already on holiday mood on the whole of Friday, and thus decided to end work at 4.30 that day~ Me and WL went to Nexus to play some board games, followed by going to a meeting room at 5.30 to play some intellectual math/puzzle games. =P It was quite fun~!
At 6.30, almost everyone arrived in the meeting room and we headed off to Dhoby Gahut for a nice dinner at Just Acia. Quite a number of people in the queue, but we had our seats at about 8. Auds stayed at DSO for a while longer due to the enormous workload, but she ended up reaching only a few mins later after we got our seats. XD
A nice gathering, where everyone talked a lot of random stuff, about life, about the future, etc. WX was kinda disturbed and stunned when he was asked "is ur gf beautiful" in Korean. XD The food was alright, ate the cheese fish dish, but didn't spam a lot of ice-cream / drinks this time round.
We left the place at 10+. Before leaving, the group gave me and WL a nice birthday card. Thanks everybody for writing a nice message! Appreciate it! :D

1st Jun (Sat)
Went to have Mookata with SY, William and WJ in the newer CCK HDB area near Keat Hong. With about $40 in total, we had a decent serving of meat slices and portions. Although the taste is definitely not as fantastic as those in restaurants, it already tasted decent! :D A nice recommendation by SY!
A scary thing would be the oil though, where William was trying to find out the amount of oil in the tom-yum soup base, and ended up scooping like half a small bowl of heart-attack substance. >.< Got a treat from them, thanks guys! :D
After dinner, we proceeded to an ice-cream cafe near Keat Hong LRT station for a dessert. (This beats cheese fries as dessert XD) Chilled out while listening to William sharing his experience in an art gallery, how he appeared in newspapers and the art of colour (some shades must be painted at certain times, otherwise it is a blind spot). Interesting!
Glad everyone is doing well! WJ is currently taking up a Masters in ML, which is quite cool! :D At about 10+, we all left for home. A good dinner and catch-up! :D

Hari Raya public holiday, a perfect day for chillin' in the mid-week. :) JM suggested a lunch with War and myself~
Went to JM house to chill first as I was still quite early, chatted about random stuff and ate some Merci chocolates. <3 The dark chocolates tasted delicious, and the almond [marzipan] ones tasted a bit powdery but still kinda fragrant!
We then set off to Bukit Panjang at about 12.45, and waited for War to reach while he goes to the toilet again (rofl). Settled for a Shabu shabu meal as War didn't want a Korean BBQ buffet.
Apparently there is a birthday month promotion where the membership fee is waived! So yup, I got the membership, and also an instant rebate of $15 for the meal. =D
The raw-egg combination with the meat dipped in the house sukiyaki soup is simply delicious. Normally I would just dip lots of random stuff in the spicy peanut butter sauce, but JM's recommendation tasted far more tasty! XD
After lunch (3.30pm), we walked around Bukit Panjang for a while to let War digest and then chilled at the same ice-cream cafe near Keat Hong LRT. Played the spy game for awhile before War left to meet his friends (couple?) for dinner.
Final walk with JM in the ITE complex~ The campus is actually beautiful and there's quite a number of people jogging in the cool evening. :D Played around with some of the logs / ropes a bit before going home. It was a fun day!

Gifts! --- Got some items for the birthday! :D
Auds: A Koi card! Apparently she heard that my lab head bought everyone ShareTea and thought that I would prefer Koi~ =P Ah that's a good try! Gonna get more green tea or ovaltine drinks in future. =P
Parents: A pair of shoes --- Nice! XD
