Midnight supper with F4

 The jellyfish is back! Today is JJ's birthday, and the day started off with the Thomson East Coast Line breaking down. XD Well I don't take the line anyway (not with 3 stations only)~ Anyway, here's wishing JJ happy birthday. ^_^

================

It's rather late, but I shall post a rather memorable dinner with F4 recently on 13th Nov~ What is so special is that we usually will have dinner, and is rather scheduled. However this occasion was kinda unplanned and it also involves an additional supper, breaking my usual sleeping time. =P

1830h: Since the dinner was impromptu, WL decided to choose the dinner and we ended up having Pizza Hut again, but this time in Jurong Point. Lots of people, and we had a light meal. Shared Salmon and mashed potato with WL, while PH had a personal BBQ pizza set and War had some meatballs.

1930h: We headed to NTUC to buy some snacks and water. JP has quite a number of shop changes (e.g. Carl's Jr. is gone) and I really couldn't recognise some of them. A nice reminder that it has been 3 years since I graduated and thus there is not much reason to pass by JP that often~

2000h: We went to PH's house downstairs and chill while PH collected his father's car keys. The HDB block is so near to JP, so convenient lolol~ Anyway War was sharing about how he got some enlightment / feels on chinese poetry (book given by boss), while WL was downright not impressed by that skill. =P I just went to a shelter and chill --- playing Nurikabe on phone. It's still so fun even though RC has been over by at least half a year. :D

2030h: On the way to Bukit Timah on PH's car. PH tuned to class 95 FM, and damn some of the songs sounded really old (but definitely nice). I have not listened to 98.7 FM for quite some time, but from my last impression, the 95 FM songs are nicer. Maybe old already liao haha~ We couldn't find a parking space at the food street and ended up parking at the shopping centre.

2100h: War suggested eating Al-Azhar as a night supper. Very crowded, and definitely offer a large variety of dinner items. Really makes one wonder why we went to Pizza Hut. Next time just ask WL eat there himself before coming over~ XP We had some pratas, War* had a rather large murtabak. I also ordered a Peppermint Orea (It's actually Oreo) for a nice drink. :)

The peppermint "Orea". Not too sweet, tastes delicious!

A nice combination of pratas, butter nanns, murtabak, chicken that is not spicy, drinks~

And so here comes the mystery question. What is the tall-looking prata called? Is it paper prata? Tissue prata? Plaster prata? =P Anyway WL seemed to have a bit of confusion with his taste buds, and started to mix up the tastes of the curry, the green sauce with the chicken and the pratas. XD The green sauce is apparently some yoghurt sauce, that tastes a bit sour and goes well with the chicken. The tall prata actually tastes sweet! I didn't believe WL until he pointed out that there were traces of sugar along with it. Tasted delicious. =P

2230h: War was rather thirsty, and so we walked around the area to find a drink for him. The shops were mostly closed except for Udders. Korean shop was closed. T.T We walked along the quiet shop houses (saw the cafe which me and War ate waffles) and nope, drinks cannot be found. We then try our luck by going to a nearby hawker center, but damn the stores were closed too.

The F4 has always associated War to an Englishman due to his awesome English skills. =P Well, perhaps that association last until that night. WL was being nice and asked War if he wanted to go to the Gas Station and buy a drink first. Nobody really thought much about this, until that sentence suddenly hit me.

Who in SG actually calls this a Gas Station~!?

See la, accidentally expose yourself luh WL~ I swear PH was very amused by that thought too haha. I don't know about you guys, but I will call it a petrol kiosk. A gas station is definitely a correct term, but it seems to be used more in the western countries.

WL: "Eh walao Jefferson is going to take a photo of that gas station and write in his blog."

And that is the whole motivation of why I must write this post~~ XD Let me just finish it, instead of abruptly ending it here. :P

2300h: Closed stalls doesnt mean we cant sit around there eh? =P So we sat there, with a rather stoned War saying nothing much, until WL disturbed that War looks depressed everytime he is eating something? =P War changed job rather recently, and is facing new challenges in his job scope. Personally I think he is taking a rather nice step, and definitely stepping into the leadership position. Hope his effort gets recognised and gets some extra pay. :D PH was busy texting girls~ Apparently there is a new app called "Coffee meets Bagel", which I kinda said the name wrongly with many variations... Hope he gets some luck to meet a nice girl!

I don't know much about other peeps, but I just feel that sometimes things just need to go naturally, and perhaps there is not much point fighting for it unless the reward is something important... Or perhaps I just lost the drive to do many things~ Like even if you put so much effort, you thought it would be good for others, it will turn out well, in the end it doesn't even matter... =/

~~~
0010h: Happy Saturday to the whole F4, and thankfully I wasn't wearing the "Friday" shirt, as otherwise it would just vanish into darkness... -.- As War didn't get a drink in the hawker centre, we went to the nearby Esso Gas Station and bought some beverages. Omg, that amazing Ayataka! =P I was really happy when I see that one, and PH was very happy about it too! Not many people I know likes that drink, thankfully PH likes it. ^^
0020h: We went to walk the quiet area around CCN road, and found a mystery staircase (near Courts) that seemed to lead to a mysterious place. War's curiosity took over him and we headed up...
...all the way to a bunch of terrace houses, connected to the Korean shop we seen earlier. -_- A very quiet night, I guessed most of the residents had slept, so we kept our volume down. The array of restaurants is still busy though, as many people were still snacking on a variety of cuisines. That is indeed a nice place for meetups and bites I guess?
"This is the night feel..."
Maybe people can really be more honest and say out their thoughts in the night, even without drinking. They don't have enough have energy to think or cover up stuff, they just speak what's on their mind, or they just remain silent... Perhaps adding some shooting stars would be better too :)
PH: It would be nice to just cuddle with your loved one somewhere ulu, cooling, see the night sky...
That just really made me felt sad, really really sad... (sigh)
~~~

0100h: PH drove everyone back home, with me being the first~ Everyone was already tired, but it was definitely a good meal~ I reached home at 1.30am. Surprisingly I didn't sleep straightaway though. Took a bath, ran some codes, played a bit of ML, did a bit of Korean, and went to sleep some time near 3am. Thanks guys for the time~ :)

======================

And this comes to the end of yet another beautiful memory~~~
