2021 resolution

The jellyfish is back! This year has been hit greatly by covid-19, but it actually has been a really awesome year for me, well at least compared to 2019. =P Shall go back to the format of writing the positive stuff first, before going on to the room for improvement. :)

But in a super nutshell, it will be something like this. [JJ shared this haha]

What is awesome about 2020? :)

1. Be much more engaged in my work. There were a lot of useless meetings / discussions / seminars / sharing sessions when there wasn't any Covid. However since this year has many work from home days, I finally get the time to read much more papers, learn more about the topic, try out a lot of stuff which I have always wanted and engage in my work. =P

2. Learnt more programming in both work / non-work scenarios. Glad that the things learnt in online courses actually helped quite a bit. :D

3. Had quite a lot of skype gaming / dinners with F4. Those were really fun! :D

4. This year I went back to playing ML (maple private server), and it sure was relaxing and a nice break from work. =P

5. Bought and tried a much larger variety of food with family. (Different cuisines, things we dont normally eat, better items) Glad they enjoyed a large part of it. But a much more important point, is that I spent much more time with parents. :D

6. Finished RC nicely with WL. Oh, and also the random celebratory meals with him. XD

==============

What is not that great?

1. Learnt much lesser Korean than I wanted to. Not sure if it's because I spread out the time to work / learn courses / ML...

2. Not much exercising this year. Covid la... -_- There were online sessions, but I guess I listened to the background music instead. XP

Resolutions for 2021

1. Learn Korean to a higher level, generally. Listening, speech, grammar, vocab~

2. Aim to finish at least half the online courses I got in 2020, regardless of topics.

3. Continue to keep up with the work passion. More reading is definitely great.

4. See if I can create an app / program that has a set of mini games, for own entertainment. =P

5. Go back to dumbbells / go to the gym sessions. Don't waste the $40 pass ahaha.

========================

Here is wishing that the covid virus will die down somewhat in the year. The virus situation is a big mess in almost every country, so hope the vaccine will save the day! If not, staying at home to work is a great thing too. =P To a really awesome year ahead!
