2020 resolution
The jellyfish is back! 2019 has been a rather chaotic year, especially in life. Unlike the past years, I shall first start off with the negative points, then the nicer sentences. :)
~~~~~~~~~~
What is not that great?
1. Jeff broke up with SH. This is undoubtedly the saddest thing that happened in these few years.
2. The book which was written with SH in 2018 was not published. EPH didn't want to publish the book and hastily swept off that the content is irrelevant. Didn't even give any chances for corrections (because they didn't have the concrete points to say what was wrong) =/
3. Lost a junior whom I cared for. Would still like to thank him though for accompanying me during the darkest period. I think he should be doing well now.
4. Attempted to teach tuition (fire-fighting), but really couldn't concentrate and gave up in the end.
5. Missed out something which I really wanted to work and learn in my job. Most probably will have zero chance to touch it again.
So as you can see, the negative points this year are of really strong magnitudes...
What is awesome about 2019? :D
1. Miraculously the next day after the breakup, PH re-appeared! --- Re-uniting the F4 after so many lost years. :)
2. The few months of chilling and studying basic/intermediate Korean with KA. I took it as a post-breakup chillout period.
3. Some really nice outings with F4 (esp. War), JM, JJ, KA!
4. Went for an overseas conference directly related to my work. It's really an experience. =P
5. Went overseas 4 times (including the conference) from Jul to Dec. --- 3 were holidays and 1 was the conference + post-conf trip. Managed to document down the experience in slides. :)
6. Took a Korean course at Sejong Korean Language School.
7. Took TOPIK 1 (67th) and scored 96.5 for it. ^^
8. Participated in lunch time exercises (Zumba, Kpop-X) rather regularly.
9. Took part and finished two runs --- Relay for Life (100km) and SCM 2019 (21km). Probably the biggest achievements of my running life lol.
10. Distributing fruits with Wee Liang. XP
11. This year, I managed to stop overworking myself and got more rest. :) This was something I wanted to do for so many years but never had the chance to haha.
Resolutions for 2020
1. Learn Korean to a higher level, especially in speech and grammar.
2. Continue to do Zumba, KPop-X, dumbbells. Running? Hmm. :)
3. Back to basics --- Re(?)-visit the fundamentals of stats / ML again.
4. Learn to develop an app? Perhaps handy for travelling or a Korean game? Hmm.
5. Properly tidy up my room and old stuff.
6. Be more passionate about my work, and get curious. It is actually an interesting area.
7.Find new girlfriend. Nah. Haven't fully gotten over. Not easy. Perhaps get over first bah.
===================================
Really hope that 2020 is a better year for everyone. :) This year there are some great happenings to people around me (yay nice), but there seems to be a much heavier weightage in people not being happy about stuff... Hope positive changes will follow them in the period ahead too. :D Have a great year everybody!
