117 ORD - Zul farewell

The jellyfish is back!

Time flies, and it's that fast that Zul and WQ have ORD-ed, even though it felt like not long ago when Zul was teaching me about the trauma bag in Fire post (Forced by Eugene!). This also means I got 3 months and a week left before I leave the station. :)

So here's to Zul, even though he may nt even come across this ulu blog. =P

--------------------------------------------

To Zul, (the rectangular shape character)

one of the greatest seniors~ who has lots of inspirational theories, to give, to advise, to spread to new juniors and hope that they will do a better job and make people like to work with them, who dosen't give up teaching the sotongs and crabs in station, and only likes affirmative answers when he asks whether a thing can be done or not, and simply hates night shifts and hates it when I keep on exchanging shifts so that I can skip day shifts! XD

Among so many exciting calls, many were with you! The 2-days water bag call, the double-collapse, the KED on bed call, the ROSC on scene call, the residential flat fire calls~ Not sure how many of these calls do you actually remember, but these are the calls which made me realise that a sense of urgency is critical and important, and how a senior must act is really much more than preparing things needed for the call, and oh of course, advices given by you and the paramedic to make me realise that feeling scared during the call is not really an option, although it's inevitable. :)

There were also times when we angered each other when we disagree on issues such as me working day/night shifts, mopping the alpha, handover verbally/written, other issues whether they are really stupid or significant.

There were also times when I purposely did things that make you angry / laugh for the fun of it, even though you may not have realised it. One of it is the KK example which amazingly you have told the station for about 10 times. :)

[The truth: I have already seen you at the sharp corner pillar, but I have no idea why the heck are you hiding yourself behind the pillar where it is not obvious to see you, therefore I purposely pass by you at the shortest distance possible and give a 'surprised look' when you ask how come I didn't see you. So i just played along and said I didn't see. Yeah, I can be that bored at times to do ridiculous things! =P]

So for all the interesting times in station, thanks for being an awesome senior to Rota 1 and 4 for a very long time (ever since Xavier and Koh ORD-ed as the last few 113 seniors), and encouraging initiatives in medics and co-operation to have a healthier work atmosphere in station. :)

Although some people have disliked you to the core, you would still try to strive to show your best and prove yourself to others, something which I can never do it. But who cares, ORD loh! One does not simply thor-ked about the unhappiness issues when he ORD :)

Best of luck to your Aerospace engineering course in future, and may the 'Alongo rulez' phrase be with you, always! =P

13 weeks left. :)
